Rent Our Wood-Fired Sauna
At the northern tip of Björnö, with fantastic views over Lake Mälaren, you’ll find our wood-fired sauna. Relax together, enjoy the sunset over the lake and alternate between the heat of the sauna and a refreshing dip from the jetty just below.
The sauna accommodates up to approximately 16 people and has a relaxation room where you can continue enjoying the evening together. There is also a barbecue on the veranda, and during winter we keep an ice hole open for anyone who wants to combine the sauna with a refreshing winter swim.

Drop-In Ice Dipping & Sauna
Ice dipping has become a popular activity in Västerås, and many people are curious to give it a try. However, having to change outdoors before and after the dip can make people hesitate. That’s why we offer drop-in ice dipping sessions where our sauna building is available for showering, changing and relaxing in a peaceful environment, without having to rent the entire sauna.
Getting Here
The sauna is located below our Granbo cabin village, just beyond the grass fields after crossing the Björnö Bridge. There is a sign at the entrance. If you arrive by car, free parking is available at the cabin village. Alternatively, bus number 2, the green line, runs all the way to Björnögården, including evenings and weekends.
