The tour starts at at the Outdoor center Aktivt Uteliv Björnögården at Björnön, where we provide all participants with suitable equipment before we head down to the water below Björnögården. After a brief theoretical overview, we get in the kayaks and paddle a nice tour on Lake Mälaren. During the tour our guide teach you the basics of kayaking and let you practice various steering techniques.

We use safe and stable sea kayaks that don’t require any previous experience in kayaking. They are beginner-friendly, but to keep up with the group, it does require some physical effort.

Our main guide is Isabella who´s a educated outdoor guide. She’s been an instructur and guide at Aktivt Uteliv since 2021 and her specific areas are kayaking and cross country skiing.

This is included:

Sea kayak with paddle, life jacket, and cockpit cover.

Own equipment needed:

If you do not have kayaking-specific clothing, we recommend regular outdoor clothes or the same clothes you would use if you go for a run. Thermal underwear and a windproof/water-resistant jacket are nice to wear, as well as an extra change of clothes and a towel.

Tour duration:

2,5 hours and 4-6 km of paddling.

Price:

599 SEK/person. The payment is done on sight with card in the outdoor store.
You can also use your wellness allowance (friskvårdsbidrag) for this activity.

Discounted price of 499 SEK/person when booking for groups of 6 or more people/teambuilding events.
